I got my first boxer in 2011, and it was a male of European blood lines. I have been training and showing in conformation since that time, mainly in USA Box Shows.
In 2016 I become one of the Co-Founders of “Across Borders Boxer Club” and have held the office
of President.
In the past two years I have been showing my European Boxers in AKC events to promote European Blood lines for American Judges and Boxer lovers.

I have raised dogs in general for 34 years, but have been exclusively boxers for 24 years in May. I have been active in showing and handling Boxers for almost 6 years.
Prior to the boxers, I have judged several UKC Tree Hound matches. I also took three Tree Hounds to Bench Champion/Night Champion and one to a Grand Night Champion.
I have been featured twice in articles in American Cooner and Coonhound Bloodlines. I was featured in Volume Two of Walk With Wick the Treedog Encyclopedia as one of the most “recognizable lady coon hunters” of the 90’s and early 2000’s.
I have been a Blue Star Kennel also.

My name is Chelsea Camp, and I live in rural Missouri. My days are spent fixing people’s teeth for the past 10 years, and my nights are spent being a wife to my best friend & mother to the miracle of my life. My whole life I’ve been an animal lover. Growing up I was constantly bringing home strays of all species, much to the dismay of my parents. I was introduced to the world of showing and Boxers 10 years ago when I met my husband, Travis. Between Travis & my mother in law’s 35 years of experience I’ve learned so much about boxers and they have quickly become one of my passions. I served as treasurer of a club I participated in while in college for 2 years. I deal with numbers and finances everyday in my work life and I know it’ll translate very well to ABBC. I have been show secretary for our last 2 shows, and I helped organize our show before that. So I know the ins and outs of the paperwork, and organization of the club and shows. I will make myself always available to the needs of the club and members, and I will do what is needed to see this club thrive. I am excited to see the future of ABBC whether it is as a board member, or as a member. I love this club and this breed, and I’m excited for our clubs future.

My life with Boxers started in 2008 when I fell in love with my first boxer Zoe. Growing up we had always had hunting labs outside or little dogs inside, and I wasn't as fond of the big dogs. That all changed the instant Zoe came into my life. She was the start of my love of Boxers, Zoe was never more than a loving, pet, but she gave me a daughter that started me into showing and other dog sports. I am now involved in conformation showing, lure coursing and hoping to try out some dock diving in the near future. I also raise puppies and love showing the puppies that I have raised. I look forward to my future with this wonderful breed!

Hello! My name is Travis Camp. I consider myself one of the lucky ones, for I have been around dogs and breeding programs for my entire life. Many of you know my Mother, Rhonda. She has a vast amount knowledge and many years of experience, and I have been fortunate to benefit from observing and learning from her most of my life. I spent my childhood watching her and my Father breeding Australian Cattle Dogs, and from an early age I was able to assist with all minor vet care around the kennel. I know now, that is where I first developed my love and passion for dogs. At some point in my childhood, we began running Coonhounds which introduced me to the world of competing. I also received additional exposure to the intricacies of breeding and the variety of bloodlines. I remember reading Coonhound hunting magazines and seeing all the different ads for different dogs in them. I found myself studying pedigrees in the ads with amazement, and discovering how so many dogs could be traced back to so few. When I was 15 or so, a friend of the family, John Wick, who for many years was one of the most well known names in the country within the treehound world, escorted myself and our hound “Quadro” to the Youth World Coonhunting Competition held in Brazil, Indiana. Quadro and I placed 10th in the world that weekend and it is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. At some point my parents switched from the Australian Cattle Dogs to Boxers, and that is when I developed a love affair with the Boxer Breed. I’ve been lucky enough to see so many incredible dogs come through my parents program. And I have learned the importance of temperament, health testing, body structure, and movement. My Mother has been gracious and has allowed me to co-own one of her females named “Sway”. Sway has been awarded several group placements in the show ring, and she definitely gave me the opportunity to dip my toes into the world of breeding. My Mother mentored me in selecting just the right sires to cross with our female to produce the best puppies. Sway is directly related to every female in the collective Camp breeding program, and I now own a beautiful male Beau who is the product of one of these breedings. The 2021 birth of my first child, our beautiful daughter Audrey Mae, understandably sidelined my plans of getting into the show ring with Beau. Therefore, my plans and focus for 2022 is to take those first steps, and begin our journey. I know it will require me to work hard and train before we even step foot in a ring, but I know I am up for the challenge. And I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. As far as my hopes and dreams for the future, some day I would be deeply honored to carry on the great work that my parents have put into their program and bloodline. And while I know I have several years before I am completely ready for the transition and responsibilities of caring for their legacy, in the here and now I cannot wait to pass on my love of dogs and the Boxer breed to my own children.

Hi, I’m Payton! I’m a newer handler/breeder of Boxers since 2017. I fell in love with the breed and got hooked on showing shortly after. When I joined this club I loved being around people who shared the love for the Boxer breed and wanted to see our club flourish. After the period of time I was a member, I became the director of committees for ABBC. I believe my knowledge on the breed, love for the sport, and multiple years campaigning in UKC have given me the confidence to fulfill my role as Director of Committees. After helping our 2 licensed shows in any way I could from judges books, to stewarding, to advertising our events I feel like I’m a great addition to the ABBC board.
Our members are a diverse group of boxer lovers! We have members throughout the United States and come together for all things boxer!
